Another Hollywood Actress Blasted by Feminists for Thinking What Millions of Others Think

Kirsten DunstQuiz: What do Stacey Dash, Candace Cameron-Bure, and Kirsten Dunst all have in common?

Give up?

The answer is that they each have been attacked recently in the media for their personal views; views which millions of Americans share.

In a stunning display of “tolerance,” liberals’ heads nearly exploded when a successful black woman, Dash, endorsed Mitt Romney in the last presidential election. What makes Dash’ experience so interesting is that she is a self-proclaimed Democrat that voted for Obama in 2008 but sad she wanted “the next four years to be different.”

Apparently the “hope and change” promised weren’t working out for Dash. So, as any intelligent person would do she reevaluated and decided to support another candidate. Imagine that? Dash said of her decision:

“It’s my right as an American citizen. … I chose him not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character.”

Oh Stacey, we know you played a “clueless” valley girl in that one movie a while back, but how could you be so clueless as to vote for a Republican? Don’t you know you are a black female? Don’t you know Republicans despise all minorities and women? If you didn’t you know that you can read any major (liberal) news outlet and they will be glad to give you your opinion so you can make an “intelligent” vote next time.

And how can we forget Candace Cameron-Bure and her incredibly uninformed, dated, antiquated, traditional old view about marriage?

Did you know that sweet DJ from the all-American show “Full House” actually believes in the biblical principle of submission within marriage? Not only does she believe in it she says it’s one of the reasons her marriage has lasted 17 years. She explained:

“Yeah, I did an interview with Huffington Post for my book…. They got to the chapter on marriage, and I wrote in there that I tend to take a more submissive role, and let my husband take the lead. They thought that was quite controversial, to which I giggled, and explained my point of view. But it hit a nerve. The press took it and ran with it, and it was pretty much the hot topic on every single talk show for that week and more. This is what has worked in our marriage, and I take it from a biblical standpoint. I literally did giggle because there’s nothing in there that’s offensive towards me or devalues my role as a woman or as a wife within my marriage. We have different roles within our marriage, and they do complement each other.”

Once again the very woman-friendly, non-judgmental, always tolerant feminists in the world let out a collective gasp as the words rolled from Cameron-Bure’s lips. How could this successful actress, author, speaker, mother, and wife say such things? Doesn’t she know that biblical submission has resulted in centuries of sexism in our world?

Really DJ, next time you ought to consult some more “enlightened” Hollywood feminists before making those comments. You know, those ladies that barely make it through the honeymoon before filing for divorce, those are the ones that really know what it takes to be a true feminine role model.

But those Holly wood faux pas pale in comparison to what Kirsten Dunst really said. Dunst, known for her role in the recent Spiderman movies, made a statement so egregious that feminists are still fuming and seeking criminal charges. Well, maybe not, but they would if they could.

Dunst told Harper’s Bazaar UK:

“I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued. We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking – it’s a valuable thing my mum created. And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I’m sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That’s why relationships work.”

What!?  Spiderman’s girl-friend just said that it’s okay for women to stay home and cook! Somewhere right now Gloria Steinem is silently weeping into her pillow.

Seriously though, feminists immediately attacked Dunst and basically called her stupid for even allowing the words to come out of her mouth. And by doing so those same feminists, the ones claiming to be all about “empowering women” and “supporting women” also insulted every single home-making woman the world over.

Let me just be frank for a moment. Yes, I’m a white male which, by default according to many in the world means I have no opinion. But let me just say that my home making wife works as hard as any professional woman around. Between raising three kids, home-schooling them all, taking care of a house, volunteering at our church, and all the little things no one ever sees, she is a busy woman.

So for any feminist to simultaneously claim to support and empower woman and then blast a woman for her opinion on relationships and gender roles is absurd. I know the irony will escape many feminists but that’s the problem. Feminists only seem to care about supporting women with the “right” viewpoint. Anyone else, Stacey Dash, Candace Cameron-Bure, and Kirsten Dunst included, are relegated to vicious attacks and hateful emails.

If you’re a gender-bender bi-sexual or lesbian woman willing to bash conservative, traditional views while trumpeting liberal rhetoric you will be held up as a role model and hero. But if you dare speak about being a submissive wife, home making mother, or in any way supportive of traditional or conservative principles, you will be sentenced to ex-communication from the feminist club.

Those feminists sure are tolerant.

This is just another example of the hypocrisy of the feminist movement. They don’t actually care about women, they care about a very narrow, specific ideology. They don’t want equality, they want superiority; they want preferential treatment. They want complete role reversal.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but millions of women across the globe believe the very same things shared by these women. It’s simple really. If you vote for a candidate and are disappointed by his or her tenure, you vote for someone else. Remember Einstein’s definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Theoretically we could say many Americans are insane after the 2012 election.

Biblical submission is a selfless act that takes mutual respect between a husband and wife. To attack someone for holding this position is to show how ignorant you are of what true submission is. People practice submission every day at their jobs, among their peers, and in social settings. To think that submission is somehow bad between a husband and wife only shows why our divorce rate is so high.

Relationships do work because men and women are different. That’s why that saying “opposites attract” exists. It takes an intelligent, strong, capable, confident woman to raise kids and manage a household. Generations of women throughout history have blessed the world with their abilities as mother’s and home makers. Their contributions to society outweigh perhaps every other.

The feminist movement needs a new name. They don’t represent women, they represent a few angry, disgruntled, hateful girls with a narrow minded ideology. Frankly, I’ll take a happy wife and home maker over an angry feminist any day.
