A recent article by TIME magazine gleefully advocates for transgender people and their “struggle” to be accepted. Sharing the story of Cassidy, the first openly transgender Homecoming Queen in the U.S., the TIME article (and video) eagerly exposes people to another world full of confusion.

At one point Cassidy says she “came out” to her parents as a gay man in high school, but now lives as transgender. Yet Cassidy said it was in 5th grade that “she” first acknowledged and knew “she” was transgender. The amount of sexual confusion here is astounding to me. This is a young man that has been confused for a long time and rather than seeking any kind of help he is being encouraged in his confusion by others.

Speaking of confusion, an article at The Federalist details the extreme confusion of a female named Tracey transitioning to male:

“This would be a woman named Tracey who ‘transitioned’ to being Thomas by having a double mastectomy with a dose of hormones to produce facial hair and such. Thomas thought it would be nice to have a baby someday, and so decided to keep ‘his’ vagina, uterus, and ovaries intact. But for some reason, even though Thomas was legally documented as male, she (oops!) needed a sperm donation. (Life isn’t fair.) In any event, when pregnant, Thomas was happy to pose nude (mostly, anyway) for the camera.”

Wait a minute. If she was so sure that she was indeed supposed to be a male why did she keep her reproductive organs? I thought transgender people were convinced that they were in the wrong body and needed to make it right by “transitioning”?

This account shows not only the persistent confusion experienced by transgender people, but the danger in encouraging such confusion. Now this very confused adult has given birth to several children. Are we really so naïve or arrogant as to say this will be the best environment for these children?

But this also shows the underlying truth that transgender people don’t want to discuss. The fact that no matter how much surgery they have they will never truly be the opposite sex. Gender is fixed at birth through biology and there is not a thing anyone can do to change it.

Men, you can have surgery to add “breasts,” but they will be just as fake as the women that have “boob jobs.” And they will never be able to produce the natural milk needed to nourish and feed a newborn child.

Ladies, you can have hormone treatment to grow facial hair, but your body will never naturally produce hair in the same places that men do. And for you men seeking to be women, your body will always grow hair in places women aren’t supposed to have hair.

Only a naturally grown reproductive system will ever be able to give birth to another human being. Sorry men, your body will never produce the eggs needed to conceive a child. And ladies, your body will never produce the sperm needed to become a father.

Men, your voices will always be lower and more “manly” than a woman’s (generally speaking). And you ladies will always have that more feminine voice.

These are just a few of the natural, biological difference between men and women that can’t be denied. Sure, doctors can use hormones and drugs and surgeries to alter some of these things. But all the surgery in the world can’t change biology and nature. The truth is that no matter how hard a person tries, no one can ever change genders. You can cut, snip, shave, inject, and dress however you want, but inside you will always be the gender you were born.

Why is this important for us to understand? The article at The Federalist begins to answer the question:

“So what does it all mean? At root, this isn’t really about people like Thomas. It’s mostly about everybody else. It’s all about changing you and your self-concept. As fringy as they may sound, injecting such lies into our language—‘the pregnant man’ and the push to separate the word ‘pregnancy’ from the word ‘woman’—are clear signals that we are moving steadily towards erasing all gender distinctions in the law.”

Let me try to sum it up quickly. If gender norms and gender lines are erased then children are no longer born from a male-female union. Of course this will lead to the erasure of traditional marriage. The nuclear family – the foundation of our society – will then erode as any group of people living and reproducing together is now considered a “family.” This will lead to a separation in the familial unit as the state becomes increasingly controlling in the lives of people. Freedom of speech and expression become “hate speech” as unsuspecting Americans try to cope with and make sense of a world with no genders, no definition of marriage, and no definition of family. The state will then force everyone to “comply.”

I hope I have conveyed the radical picture that is being created by LGBT activists as they attempt to undo the fabric of our society and recreate it into what will ultimately be the downfall of our culture. This is not merely about equality, or rights, this is about destroying all that we know regarding human sexuality, gender, marriage, and family. This is about replacing gender norms with gender-neutral thinking, replacing marriage with business arrangements, replacing parents with appointed overseers, and replacing the family with the state.

Such a society has no chance whatsoever of providing the proper environment to foster freedom. This environment does nothing but ensure the state thrives while the people are crippled under the tremendous weight of tyranny.
