Do Kids Really Need Stay At Home Moms?

Posted on November 10, 2014 in Family, Marriage by

President Obama supports a woman’s choice.

Unless that choice is to be a stay-at-home mom, then he doesn’t want you to make that choice. He would rather you choose your job and earn more money than to stay home with your children.

That’s the main take away from his recent speech at Rhode Island College in Providence, RI recently. It sounds as though our president would like the government to discourage mother from staying home with their kids. As though money, career advancement, and those things the business world offers are more important than raising children. The President said:

Former Homosexual Warns America of “Unmitigated Disaster” of Marriage Redefinition

Posted on October 3, 2014 in Marriage by

Activists pushing for the legalization of same-sex “marriage” don’t want you to hear from former homosexuals. In their world there is no such thing. Anyone claiming to be a “former homosexual” is, in their opinion, either a liar suppressing their true identity, or they never were really a homosexual. I’m not sure how someone can claim to be a homosexual without ever really being one – it doesn’t seem like something you do as a recreational past time.

What they think of this rapidly growing class of people, they are afraid of them. No group has more power and ability to stop the homosexual agenda in its tracks than former homosexuals. So when someone like David Kyle Foster, himself a former homosexual, writes about the “unmitigated disaster for gay marriage,” it might be a good idea to listen.

For anyone not sure if Foster really was a homosexual his answer is succinct: “Does sleeping with over 1,000 men count?” His time as a homosexual spanned 10 years and he has now been a “former homosexual” for the past 34 years. Because of his experience living the homosexual lifestyle, Foster is uniquely qualified to discuss the dangers and disasters awaiting the society that chooses to life homosexuality atop a pedestal.

WOW! Watch “9 Months of Development” in Only 4 Minutes

Posted on September 8, 2014 in Life by

The below video is amazing. In very graphic detail we are given a glimpse into the development of an unborn child from the moment life begins at conception to birth. Details that we never get to see such as the heart beginning to beat, eyes opening for the first time, and blood flowing through the unborn child’s veins are captured in brilliant detail. It’s worth 4 minutes of your time to see the miracle of life and human development.
The science of fetal development has helped confirm the humanity of the unborn. No longer can Planned Parenthood and other abortion activists lie and tell us it’s just a “blob of cells” inside the mother’s womb. There is now no doubt that what is growing and developing inside the mother’s womb is a human being.

Another Hollywood Actress Blasted by Feminists for Thinking What Millions of Others Think

Posted on April 24, 2014 in Family, Marriage by

Quiz: What do Stacey Dash, Candace Cameron-Bure, and Kiersten Dunst all have in common?

Give up?

The answer is that they each have been attacked recently in the media for their personal views; views which millions of Americans share.

In a stunning display of “tolerance,” liberals’ heads nearly exploded when a successful black woman, Dash, endorsed Mitt Romney in the last presidential election. What makes Dash’ experience so interesting is that she is a self-proclaimed Democrat that voted for Obama in 2008 but sad she wanted “the next four years to be different.”

Apparently the “hope and change” promised weren’t working out for Dash. So, as any intelligent person would do she reevaluated and decided to support another candidate. Imagine that? Dash said of her decision:

Science: We Need Dads

New research has concluded what most of us already knew: children need fathers.

There is a myriad of evidence that shows a father in the home reduces violent crime, produces a better social environment, and provides essential growth opportunities. However, researchers have questioned the need for fathers thinking they only provide more parenting, not distinct and unique parenting.

New research conducted by Professor David Eggebeen of Penn State University, uncovers the unique impact fathers have on their children that is pointing researchers to the conclusion that fathers do not merely give more parenting, but distinct and unique parenting needed by children of both sexes.

Fathers do not merely give more parenting, but distinct and unique parenting needed by children of both sexes.

A View of Women the Feminist Movement Forgot

Posted on April 12, 2014 in Family, Marriage by

Filing for divorce twice as often as men, women most often say it is due to ‘mental cruelty’ (Source: Why women leave men). It seems that in most all statistics, women are worse off as a whole. They are seeing the highest levels of poverty ( Source: National Women’s Law Center), out of wedlock births (Source: National Review), and one in three women will have an abortion in their lifetime (Source: Guttmacher Institute).

It demands us to ask some serious questions. Has the last century of women’s rights not touched the home? Has women’s equality not turned the tide of divorce? Has it not lifted women out of poverty instead of sinking them further into poverty? Women’s equality has failed precisely because it is misplaced from the Biblical understanding of women. It has failed precisely because it misunderstands the honor God has given to women.

In short, if you think women are equal to men, then you have too low of a view of women. Women are not merely equal, they are to be honored and esteemed unlike that of a man.

War on Women? What About the War on Masculinity?

Posted on February 28, 2014 in Family by

I confess I’m fascinated by studying the difference in genders. My wife will attest to the fact that I don’t understand women and do indeed find them strange creatures from another planet. But I am curiously drawn to studying the differences between men and women.

Culturally speaking it’s almost taboo to even suggest there is a difference between men and women. The feminist movement and political correctness have all but erased gender lines. Rather than celebrating the God-given differences we have been gifted with, society seems more interested in androgyny as a happy middle between the sexes.

Sorry, I reject that notion.

I love John Wayne, shooting guns, eating various kinds of meat, and doing “macho” things that are at times slightly dangerous; like jumping off the roof of my house to avoid using the rickety step ladder. Yes, Tim the Tool Man Taylor is awesome. Additionally, I chew my nails and would never consider getting a manicure, think anything resembling a purse is for women, am suspicious of any guy that doesn’t like at least one sport, and believe there should be a distinct difference between women and men.

Complementarianism: A Biblical Model of Marriage

I could spend a lot of time talking about biblical gender roles. In fact, I spent over a year studying them before compiling a teaching outline and writing a number of articles on the subject. I believe the Bible lays out specific responsibilities and guidelines for men and women if they desire to be a biblical husband/father and wife/mother.

VIDEO: Mom Destroys Common Core in 3 Minutes

Posted on January 20, 2014 in Home School, Public Policy by

I’ve had a lot of conversations about Common Core lately. Unfortunately many parents don’t know how dangerous this once-size-fits-all attempt at education really is. Not onyl does Common Core dumb down America’s academic standards, it removes parents are the primary educator of children and replaces them with government. And don’t get me started on the complete lack of morals hidden in Common Core.

If you don’t know much about Common Core I encourage you to do some home work. Most states have implemented it, but many are now backing out because they see how absurdly awful it truly is.

Watch the video below of a mother in Arkansas that went to her school board and absolutely destroyed Common Core with one single math problem in less than three minutes. If this math problem from Common Core doesn’t give you an idea of how inadequate these “standards” really are, it might be time to head back to school.
