Study: Teen Pregnancy Rate Drops When Planned Parenthood Leaves Town

Posted on January 21, 2014 in Sexuality by

A long-term study in the panhandle of Texas covering 16 counties covering 1994 through 2010 shows the teen pregnancy rate drops significantly when Planned Parenthood is not around.

While Planned Parenthood claims that they serve an important role in the community evidence to the contrary suggests Planned Parenthood is the problem. A recent article explains the study:

Would You Want Your 13-Year-Old Daughter Answering This Question?

Posted on January 20, 2014 in Sexuality by

As a parent I have the responsibility to teach my kids certain things about life. Among those things which I am to be the primary teacher for my kids are morality, theology, and manners. I don’t believe it is anyone else’s responsibility to impart this vital information to my kids and will not allow anyone else to obstruct or interfere with my responsibility.

Another very critical issue for which I believe I am primarily responsible for teaching my kids is sexuality. Some might be tempted to believe it is a school’s job or the government’s job (same thing) to teach children about sexuality when the truth is that it is a parent’s responsibility. Now, it is true that some parents have abdicated this role in their children’s lives to others: school, government, church. But this does not negate their responsibility, and creating alternative streams for education only further allows parents to be negligent rather than encouraging them to step up.

Ministry to Abortion Clinic Workers Seeing Results

Posted on January 8, 2014 in Life by

Abby Johnson is well known around the country for leaving her position at a Texas Planned Parenthood and blowing the whistle on illegal activity at the clinic. But she didn’t stop here. Johnson started a ministry called “And Then There Were None” in 2012 to reach out to abortion clinic workers. Her goal as simply to help them, if they desired, to quit their job at the abortion clinic and find life-affirming work elsewhere.

A recent article shares the success of Johnson’s efforts since her ministry began in June of 2012:

Planned Parenthood Has An App for Your Kids. Be Warned

Posted on January 6, 2014 in Life, Sexuality by

Planned Parenthood is the world’s largest abortion business. Their primary goal, despite what they say and try to convince the public of, is to kill as many unborn children as they can. This can be seen in their own service reports as abortion is by far the largest service performed by Planned Parenthood. But they also want to “educate” kids about sex. So Planned Parenthood has created an app to do just that. A recent article explains:

“…we have learned of the Planned Parenthood cell phone app for 12-year-olds that sends the message that ‘having sex feels good.’ If you don’t believe this incredible piece of news, go to the Planned Parenthood Facebook page and read about it for yourselves – that is if you can stand to wade through the stuff that I honestly think is Grade A pornography masquerading as education and humor.”

Of course the message is not the problem, it’s the audience. Why does a 12 year-old need to know about sex and how good it feels? Do we want our 12 year-olds having sex? Oh wait, if 12-year-olds have sex they will need condoms, birth control and other contraceptives. And if something goes wrong they will need Plan B drugs and abortions. What do you know, Planned Parenthood offers all of those “services.”

Now you can see how dangerous Planned Parenthood and their gutter morality can be. Be warned, this is not an app you want for your kids.

The Best of the “Top Lists” of 2013 for Your Reading Enjoyment

Posted on January 1, 2014 in Public Policy by

I’m spending the first moments of 2014 by reviewing 2013 to see how I might be able to help improve things this year. Not because I think I can do it all by myself, but because if every person fights apathy and is willing to do something we can see significant changes happen this year. Part of my effort is to review some of the best “top lists” from 2013 to see what went right and what went wrong.

I thought it would be fun and helpful to share some of these lists with you. So after scouring the Interwebs for the best “top lists,” I have several I’d like to share.

Amazing Pictures: Photog Captures First Moments of Life

Posted on December 30, 2013 in Life by

Some contend that life begins “when the mother decides life begins.” This is not just a patently false position it is logically absurd. The argument is a weak attempt to justify abortion. The lack of logic and rational thought behind the position is so obvious that few dare use it. But for those who do try and use this silly position they should take a look at the images captured by a photographer at a university hospital in Europe.

A recent article says of the images:

“A photographer has captured the wondrous, miraculous moment of birth – in all its raw and unglamourised glory. Taken before a mother has seen her baby for the first time these amazing photographs show the reality of how we all enter this world.
The warts and all pictures are the work of respected Danish photographer Suste Bonnen who was given unprecedented access to mothers while they were in labour.”

10 Best Pro-Life Moments of 2013

In any given year, there are thousands of pro-life moments to celebrate. Reflecting on these moments inspires us to keep on keeping in the new year.

Here are ten notable moments from 2013:

10) The rejections of the Estrela Report by the European Union and the Bali Declaration by the United Nations

Brad Mattes explains the Estrela victory for Life Issues Institute:

The Estrela Report is a proclamation of “sexual and reproductive health rights”—code words for their primary objective of abortion-on-demand. The Report would literally declare abortion to be a human right. The goal is to make abortion accessible through the public health systems in all European Union member countries. There are no limitations, meaning that third-trimester abortions until birth could be a common reality. …It should come as no surprise that one of the self-seeking groups behind this measure is the International Planned Parenthood Federation. …

149 Abortions for Every Adoption Referral

Posted on December 13, 2013 in Life by

Planned Parenthood is an aboriton business. We must start with that in order to have an honest discussion about the organization. People that claim they “do good services” for women aren’t being honest if they don’t admit that the primary “service” of Planned Parenthood is abortion. To further show just how important abortion is to women, a recent report states that last year Planned Parenthood did 149 abortions for every adoption referral.

Further statistics show the low level of concern Planned Parenthood has for women’s health:

“PPFA reported a substantial drop in its clinic numbers between December 2012 and December 2013.
“Planned Parenthood reported a 6.7 percent decrease worldwide in customers for its ‘sexual and reproductive healthcare and education.’ In the U.S., it reported seeing 10,000 fewer unduplicated customers than in 2011.

“One of the most glaring numbers was the steep decline in prenatal services-a 31.97 percent decline from the prior year.

“In addition, Planned Parenthood’s highly touted cancer screening services dropped 14.22 percent from the 2011 numbers.”
Just so we’re clear, Planned Parenthood is an abortion business. Click here for original article.

“Can My Transgender Girlfriend Get Me Pregnant?”

Posted on December 12, 2013 in Sexuality by

LifeSiteNews.com shared this: “Planned Parenthood has posted a response on its Tumblr account to a reader who asked, ‘Can my trans[gender] girlfriend get me pregnant?’ Someone who, understandably, wanted to remain anonymous wrote, ‘My girlfriend is trans and has been doing hormone replacement therapy for about a year. About how likely is it that she can still get me pregnant?’ Yes, a biological female apparently having heterosexual intercourse with a biological male asked if sex still causes pregnancy. A Planned Parenthood spokesperson named ‘Mylanie’ responded with the perplexing statement, ‘anytime your girlfriend’s semen…gets into your vagina or onto your vulva, you’re at risk for pregnancy.'”

How sad is it that sexuality has been so defamed and maligned that we have to answer questions like this? This young person has been so conditioned to see sexuality as just another “customizeable” aspect to a persons life that she doesn’t think it strange to be in a sexual relationship with a person so confused about his own sexuality that he is trying to become a female.

Furthermore, the girl in question is obviously having her own sexuality issues considering she is in a relationship with a biological male transitioning to a female; which makes her…homosexual?

Lastly, exactly how effective is all that explicit sex education in the public schools if this young woman doesn’t know that sex between a man and woman carries the risk of pregnancy?

Welcome to the 21st century. In this “brave new world” males try to become female, females engage in sexual relationships with trans females, and neither of them can figure out what causes pregnancy. But don’t worry, Planned Parenthood has lots of brochures to make sure they enjoy sex, have lots of condoms(?), and just in case those two crazy kids – one or both – end up pregnant help with abortions services. Ladies and gentlemen, the future of America. Click here for original article.

Plan B Abortion Drug Hasn’t Changed Anything

Posted on December 4, 2013 in Life by

Planned Parenthood officials are officially “disappointed” by the results of Plan B on the unintended pregnancy rate. They believed this abortion drug would be the answer to their perceived problem but it has not had an impact on the rate, which has stayed steady at 50% of all pregnancies. Planned Parenthood recently said: “While there’s a lot of data to show it can prevent pregnancy in individual women, we’ve all been disappointed that on the population level, it just hasn’t had the effect we hoped…The unintended pregnancy rate hasn’t changed at all.”

It’s almost as if Planned Parenthood cannot understand that many people are pro-life, and taking a drug that will kill a living human being is simply not an option. So whether the pregnancy is unintended or not, Plan B will not be considered. This is a simple way to explain the steady unintended pregnancy rate. It might be too simple for Planned Parenthood to understand. Click here for original article.
