In the wake of the election that saw Donald trump upset the Clinton political machine, stunned media outlets tried to make sense of it all. One of the most honest, and accurate statements about why Hillary Clinton lost the election came from a CNN anchor.
The liberal media took a beating during the 2016 election and in the days immediately following. How did they get it so wrong? How could they possibly have so underestimated Donald Trump and the outcome of the election? Fingers started pointing and tongues began wagging as accusations against each other began to fly. But in the midst of the confusion the pundits and talking heads were going through, one statement helps make it all make sense.
John King, host of the show “Inside Politics” on CNN made the following clarifying statement that should bring every liberal to reflection and encourage most Americans:

Before you vote for Hillary Clinton, consider remarks she made in a speech saying that “religious beliefs” need to change in order to more fully encourage abortion in our culture.
A video, posted below, shares several clips of Clinton’s remarks on abortion which include her desire to see Planned Parenthood get more money, that unborn children don’t have any Constitutional rights, and that Roe v. Wade is settled law. One of the most disturbing comments she made though was that “religious beliefs…have to be changed.”

The following video is one that should be considered very carefully by anyone voting in the upcoming election. The message of this video is at the heart of what is at stake during this election cycle.
Often, anyone that focuses on a single issue during an election will be called myopic, or a “single issue voter.” This is never considered a good thing and people are often told to look beyond that single issue. But, in the case of the sanctity of life it is hard to “look past” a candidate as rabidly in support of abortion as Hillary Clinton.
The video, shot by David Benham, one half of the famed Benham Brothers, reminds Christians that a vote for the Democratic party (Hillary Clinton) is a vote for a radical abortion agenda. Benham states:

A new commercial airing in the state of Michigan is reminding voters that a core issue in the upcoming election is that of life. The commercial, produced by Right to life of Michigan, is called “Start with Life.”
The commercial flashes scenes of daily life in America as a narrator reminds us that our country was founded on the principle that every life is valuable and should be treated equally. The narrator says:
Famed Film Maker Has A Question for Christians About Donald Trump

I have a confession; I love a good documentary. I know that makes me a geek. I’m okay with it. I especially love historical documentaries that show footage from our past. To glimpse into the past to see what life was like decades, or centuries ago is incredible.
One of the best historical documentary filmmakers in the world is Ken Burns. Anyone that has watched a really good historical documentary has probably watched a Ken Burns film. Recently Ken Burns did an interview in which he asked Christians planning to support Donald Trump a question. He asked:
“What part of Donald Trump reminds you of Jesus Christ?”
That’s a legitimate question that I think every Christian planning to vote for Trump needs to wrestle with. While some are quick to note that we are not voting on a “pastor in chief,” but a president. I would argue that, for Christians, the person we prefer for our nations highest political office should be one that best represents the convictions and values we cherish. Is that Trump?
I don’t know if Ken Burns is a Christian but he seems to be wrestling with the decision to vote for Trump – as a Christian – more honestly than many professing Christians. During his interview he said:

The video below has been circulating social media for a couple of weeks now. The video shows people being asked if they are pro-choice or pro-life. When they answer that they are pro-choice, they are shown a video of what a typical first trimester abortion looks like. Their reactions are recorded as they watch the video. Once the video is finished they are asked if their opinions have changed concerning abortion.
Everyone changes their mind.
Years ago Fr. Frank Pavone said “America won’t reject abortion until it sees abortion.” Maybe he knew how preceisely accurate his words were, maybe not. But watching this video makes it clear that many people simply don’t understand just how human the unborn are, and what terrible torture abortion really is.
I hope this video continues to circulate social media and that many more minds will be changed because of it. There is no doubt that more people are pro-life today than ever before. We need to continue to educate people on the atrocity of abortion and reject the culture of death that Planned Parenthood and its partners want us to accept.
And, let’s not forget the unborn when we vote for a president in November.
Most Evangelical Voters Won’t Vote for Trump. Here’s Why That Is Good and Scary

For the first time in several election cycles, and certainly in my lifetime, there is no clear choice for evangelical voters in the upcoming presidential election.
I’m going to lay all my cards on the table and say what I think has been going on, and what will happen in November if Trump and Clinton are the nominees.
To this point I think there has been a deliberate effort to prop Trump up as the presumptive nominee for Republicans. The media has done a fantastic job of propping Trump up by giving him far more coverage than any other candidate; when there were more candidates in the race. When you look at some of the outlandish things Trump has said it is hard to believe he is still in the race. That is, unless that was the plan all along.
What is this was the goal: to make Trump the nominee over all the other serious candidates. Standing next to Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, Trump is a caricature that is hard to take seriously. And somehow, he ended up as the last man standing. And while some would have us believe that Trump can beat Clinton, I think that is a serious error in judgment.
Why would the media pay so much attention to a caricature like Trump?
