Believe in Traditional Marriage – Go to Reeducation Camp!

Do you think only women get pregnant?
Believe marriage is the union of a man and woman?
Hold the position that there are inherent differences between men and women?
You old-fashioned, homophobic, bigoted, discriminatory, sexist person. How dare you believe such things.
How dare you believe that only women can get pregnant. Never-mind the biology, it is absolutely sexist and gender-biased of you to think that only women can get pregnant.
And to think that marriage is the union of only a man and woman. I can’t believe any sane, rational, fair-minded person in this day and age would believe such nonsense.
And don’t get me started on gender distinctions. Anyone believing that the genders are inherently different is a product of their discriminatory environment, not an enlightened culture.
Those might sound like odd statements to some, but to other they are music to their ears. A society that sounds like the one described above is the ultimate goal of those seeking to redefine…everything.
And for those of us who believe in such traditional views as women are the only ones that can get pregnant, marriage is for a man and woman, and inherent distinctions exist between the genders, well, our destination is “re-education camp.”
I realize that _re-education camp” sounds like something out of a Nazi training manual, something that would surely never happen here in America. And yet, it is happening, right now, today.
If you’ve paid attention to the case of Jack Phillips, a baker in Colorado, you will know that after being convicted of discrimination for adhering to his religious convictions he has been ordered to bake cake for homosexual couples in celebration of their weddings, and also been ordered to undergo state sanctioned “sensitivity” training. In other words, he will be sent to reeducation camp. A recent article explains:
“Phillips be required to bake wedding cakes for same-sex couples in conflict with his moral Christian convictions. Additionally, Phillips and his staff will have to submit to a regimen of state-sanctioned sensitivity training to make sure they are in line with Colorado’s non-discrimination statute. Over the next two years Phillips will also be required to submit quarterly reports to Colorado’s Civil Rights Commission concerning his business practices, informing the commission whether he has turned any business away, most importantly homosexual customers.”
So let’s lay this out plainly. Jack Phillips didn’t want to bake a cake – which is a form of artistic speech – so he would not violate his religious convictions. The state found him guilty of discrimination and is now demanding he bake cakes, forcing him to be “reeducated” to make sure his view lines up with the state sanctioned view, and will now track his business to make sure it is compliant.
Does that sound like the America we desire to live in? The America where freedom of thought, speech, expression, and religion are protected? That sounds more like some communist regime found in China, North Korea or Cuba. And yet here we are, in the good ole’ United States of America.
But this is the point. Anyone that believes LGBT activists will ever be satisfied with anything they currently call “equality” is fooling himself. The “gay mafia” as they are being called, is bent on nothing short of demanding, by force of law, that every person in America celebrates their lifestyle. If you think you can simply be silent and escape you are absolutely wrong. Silent dissent will be punished as heavily as open opposition.
An article at The Federalist further clarifies what is happening:
“So what does it all mean? At root, this isn’t really about people like [LGBT people]. It’s mostly about everybody else. It’s all about changing you and your self-concept. As fringy as they may sound, injecting such lies into our language—‘the pregnant man’ and the push to separate the word ‘pregnancy’ from the word ‘woman’—are clear signals that we are moving steadily towards erasing all gender distinctions in the law. And why should we care? Because erasing gender distinctions, especially as they apply to childbearing and rearing, would serve to legally un-define what it means to be human. A new legal definition of human—as neither male nor female—would apply to you whether you like it or not. Already, there is social pressure for everyone to comply with the gender theory notion that biological facts are mere ‘social constructs.’”
There it is. The ultimate goal is to “reeducate” everyone. Have you ever wondered why Planned Parenthood and GLSEN are so eager to teach kids in every public school in America? If they can get them young enough they can permanently indoctrinate them to their skewed, immoral way of thinking. That sounds an awful lot like a former communist leader’s way of thinking. I believe it was Vladimir Lenin who said:
“Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world.”
The idea that passive, silent disapproval will be enough is a false security that will destroy the foundation of American society. LGBT activists are not content with people merely tolerating, or even accepting them, they want nothing short of celebration for their lifestyle. And to start they will “educate” our children on what sexuality, gender, and marriage really are.
The end result will be a culture where gender norms as defined by biology are discarded in favor of perceived gender; the same will be done to sexuality. No longer will biology and science rule the day in understanding human gender and sexuality, now it will simply be an arbitrary matter of perception and preference. Such a fluid perception of human gender and sexuality will result in the complete breakdown of what it means to be family. Marriage will be replaced with contracts between consenting adults. Parents will be replaced with appointed overseers. And the State will grow increasingly controlling of every facet of the lives of citizens.
The threat is so masked, so subtle, that many are not aware and currently ignorant of any attempts to replace freedom with something far less free. Then again, an obvious attempt would be crushed. So subtlety rules the day as the campaign to redefine America speaks of “security,” “equality,” and “civil rights” for all.
In the end though, no one will be free. Not even those currently fighting the war for redefinition.
