Every campaign, every organization has a goal. That’s just a normal function of any group. So it should come as no surprise to you that the gay rights movement also has goals. Of course if you were to ask any LGBT activist about their “agenda” they will deny any agenda exists and try to make you feel stupid for such a suggestion. This is also part of the agenda.

The question is, “Do you know what that gay rights agenda is?

In an article for WND, pastor, writer, and human rights consultant Dr. Scott Lively has explained in great detail exactly what the gay rights agenda is, and how it is being accomplished. And he’s done so using their own writings.

Take for example the 1972 Gay Rights Platform. This platform was adopted in 1972 when more than 200 homosexual organizations met in Chicago to write and adopt it. Why should it matter to you? Because nearly every plank in this platform has been achieved. A platform that is more than 40 years old has been implemented with surgical precision. Check for yourself, read the platform and check off how many of their goals have been accomplished.

FEDERAL LEVEL:

1) Amend all federal Civil Rights Acts, other legislation and government controls to prohibit discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations and public services.
2) Issuance by the President of an executive order prohibiting the military from excluding for reasons of their sexual orientation, persons who of their own volition desire entrance into the Armed Services; and from issuing less-than-fully-honorable discharges for homosexuality; and the upgrading to fully honorable all such discharges previously issued, with retroactive benefits.
3) Issuance by the President of an executive order prohibiting discrimination in the federal civil service because of sexual orientation, in hiring and promoting; and prohibiting discriminations against homosexuals in security clearances.
4) Elimination of tax inequities victimizing single persons and same-sex couples.
5) Elimination of bars to the entry, immigration and naturalization of homosexual aliens.
6) Federal encouragement and support for sex education courses, prepared and taught by gay women and men, presenting homosexuality as a valid, healthy preference and lifestyle as a viable alternative to heterosexuality.
7) Appropriate executive orders, regulations and legislation banning the compiling, maintenance and dissemination of information on an individual’s sexual preferences, behavior, and social and political activities for dossiers and data banks.
8) Federal funding of aid programs of gay men’s and women’s organizations designed to alleviate the problems encountered by Gay women and men which are engendered by an oppressive sexist society.
9) Immediate release of all Gay women and men now incarcerated in detention centers, prisons and mental institutions because of sexual offense charges relating to victimless crimes or sexual orientation; and that adequate compensation be made for the physical and mental duress encountered; and that all existing records relating to the incarceration be immediately expunged.

STATE LEVEL:

1) All federal legislation and programs enumerated in Demands 1, 6, 7, 8, and 9 above should be implemented at the State level where applicable.
2) Repeal of all state laws prohibiting private sexual acts involving consenting persons; equalization for homosexuals and heterosexuals for the enforcement of all laws.
3) Repeal all state laws prohibiting solicitation for private voluntary sexual liaisons; and laws prohibiting prostitution, both male and female.
4) Enactment of legislation prohibiting insurance companies and any other state-regulated enterprises from discriminating because of sexual orientation, in insurance and in bonding or any other prerequisite to employment or control of one’s personal demesne.
5) Enactment of legislation so that child custody, adoption, visitation rights, foster parenting, and the like shall not be denied because of sexual orientation or marital status.
6) Repeal of all state laws prohibiting transvestism and cross-dressing.
7) Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent.
8) Repeal of all legislative provisions that restrict the sex or number of persons entering into a marriage unit; and the extension of legal benefits to all persons who cohabit regardless of sex or numbers.”

Are you paying attention now?

Not only should you be disturbed at how many of these goals have been accomplished, but the few remaining goals should equally disturb you.

Specifically disturbing to me are federal goals number 9 and state goals 2, 3, 7 and 8.

In federal goal number 9 there is demand that any homosexual person in jail for sexual offenses be released! I can’t fathom the justification in such a goal and yet this platform includes it as if it’s a common sense plank. If homosexuals should be released – despite their crimes – why not everyone else?

But state level goals 2, 3, and 7 are also disturbing. These goals make it clear that the gay agenda is driven to erase any and all sexual boundaries. They desire to remove the age of consent laws so that sex between children and adults is now legal. I suppose doing so would justify releasing pedophiles from prison. And pay careful attention to their use of words. They don’t discuss sexual acts between “consenting adults,” but rather between “consenting persons” just to further reiterate their desire to legalize adult-child sex.

State level goal number 8 makes it clear that the definition of marriage isn’t merely to be redefined, but to be eradicated. They are not seeking just to have homosexuals included in the definition of marriage but to make marriage an all-inclusive government approved legal contract between any “number of persons.” This, I assume, includes willing and consenting children.

Further proof of the true intentions of those driving the gay agenda can be seen in excerpts from homosexual writings. An essay by a homosexual activist that was alter published in the Congressional Record conveys the following desires of the gay agenda:

“The family unit-spawning ground of lies, betrayals, mediocrity, hypocrisy and violence – will be abolished. The family unit, which only dampens imagination and curbs free will, must be eliminated. Perfect boys will be conceived and grown in the genetic laboratory. They will be bonded together in communal setting, under the control and instruction of homosexual savants.

“All churches who condemn us will be closed. Our only gods are handsome young men. We adhere to a cult of beauty, moral and esthetic. All that is ugly and vulgar and banal will be annihilated.”

Another essay, written in 1987, which later became a book that has been used ever since as the “gay manifesto” shares the political strategy for normalizing homosexuality in American culture:

“The first order of business is desensitization of the American public concerning gays and gay rights…. And when we say talk about homosexuality, we mean just that. In the early stages of any campaign to reach straight America, the masses should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself.

“… gays must be cast as victims in need of protection so that straights will be inclined by reflex to assume the role of protector.

“… the mainstream should be told that gays are victims of fate, in the sense that most never had a choice to accept or reject their sexual preference.

“… Our campaign should not demand direct support for homosexual practices, should instead take anti-discrimination as its theme.

“… At a later stage of the media campaign for gay rights-long after other gay ads have become commonplace-it will be time to get tough with remaining opponents. To be blunt, they must be vilified. … we intend to make the antigays look so nasty that average Americans will want to dissociate themselves from such types.”

Does any of that sound familiar? It should because it is the very campaign that is currently being waged against the American public in order to achieve the goals set forth in the gay agenda. These goals include the normalization of every deviant for of sexuality plausible, the total eradication of marriage, to downplay the nuclear family, and to marginalize every Christian and church that stands in their way. Dr. Lively says the gay agenda is seeking to fundamentally change America:

“In summary, the ‘gay’ agenda is to eliminate the existing Judeo-Christian model of civilization, grounded in marriage-based procreative sexuality, to make way for an irrational and impossible cultural Marxist model which imagines family-less, unlimited ‘sexual freedom’ (anarchy), while somehow preserving orderliness in every other aspect of human society. It reflects an insane and Satanic delusion that breeds chaos, and can only be stopped by unceasing reaffirmation of biblical values and the natural family by the rest of us.”

They are inching ever closer to their goal. The landscape of family, church, and sexuality in America is changing rapidly. The question is whether or not we will continue to sit idly by and watch it happen or take action? By standing, vocally, for traditional values and voting for lawmakers that share those values, we can stop the cultural shift and return to a culture of biblical morals and values. The alternative, as Dr. Lively presented, is not pretty.
