For over a month now videos have been released showing the disturbing and potentially illegal activities of Planned Parenthood. The country’s largest abortion merchant has been making money selling aborted baby body parts to biotech companies for research. Such practices are explicitly illegal in the United States but Planned Parenthood doesn’t generally concern themselves with the law.

The latest video might be the most disturbing of all.

In the latest video a Planned Parenthood (PP) Research Director can be seen and heard discussing how PP routinely harvests organs for profit. But what is most shocking is that she explains how abortion procedures are altered (a violation of federal law) to provide fully intact babies for donation as research specimens. A recent article explains exactly what this means:

“The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact aborted babies…Planned Parenthood could be breaking the federal law known as the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that requires abortion clinics, hospitals and other places that do abortions to provide appropriate medical care for a baby born alive after a failed abortion or purposefully birthed to “let die.” That would be one of the potential ways Planned Parenthood could produce a “fully intact” baby to sell to StemExpress for research. Most “crunchy” abortion methods would do damage to the baby’s body.”

The end result for PP is that selling aborted baby body parts is really “just a matter of line items.”

That’s it. Killing unborn children is nothing more than an entry on a tally sheet for record-keeping and budgetary purposes. The callous, almost vile manner in which PP and their officials describe killing unborn children is frightening. If the most vulnerable humans on earth are nothing but a line item to PP how can anyone possibly trust that they have a woman’s best interest at heart. Can an organization that cheerfully advises women to kill their children be trusted?

Let’s be honest, if this was an organization selling aborted baby kittens or puppies for research there would be global outrage. Every donor and partner of the organization would immediately distance themselves. Every advertising dollar would dry up. Every grant would be rescinded. And Congress would pass some law to make sure the evil people that perpetrated this vile act are brought to justice.

Apparently kittens and puppies matter more to humans that other humans. How’s that for twisted irony?

And of course PP continues to defend their actions to the American people. They stick to talking points, avoid questions, change topics, and talk evasively about the whole situation. Kind of sounds like a politician. But the talking points aren’t working and no one believes the rhetoric anymore. As Fr. Frank Pavone recently wrote in an op-ed:

“Cecile Richards — and the Planned Parenthood enterprise she leads — is disconnected from the American public, and from the nature of the outrage being expressed across the country and around the world. We are not upset about the tone of a conversation…It is, rather, the simple fact, which neither Planned Parenthood nor Cecile Richards denies, that the hearts and lungs, the legs and brains, the eyes and livers of babies are being harvested and given a price tag. The American people do not see this as something to be proud of. They don’t oppose research. But neither would they cut up their children in order to advance it. The American people still have enough of a conscience to recognize that the end does not justify the means, and that morality is about more than ‘tone.’”

He’s right. Cecile Richards and PP are grossly out of step with the American people. In fact, were it not for the fact that PP has the support of the most pro-abortion president in American history, they would have been defunded long ago. But President Obama continues to support PP and even ask God to “bless” them. Talk about being out of touch.

Thankfully, a number of states have decided to defund Planned Parenthood in light of the absolutely inhuman practices of the organization. To date, Alabama, Louisiana, and New Hampshire have all pulled state funding to the abortion group. All federal funding for PP should be immediately revoked. This “non-profit” organization has more money than most. Not to mention that abortion should not be funded with tax-payer dollars. If Planned Parenthood really thinks the American people find value in what they do, let them prove it by staying afloat without federal money.

Critics of the undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood say the films have been heavily edited for content to twist conversations. To combat that accusation, the group has released the full, unedited videos.

It’s time for the American people to be appropriately outraged. This isn’t a single lion killed, or a single adult human being. This is the whole sale slaughter of millions of unborn children for the purpose of profit. If you can’t muster an ounce of energy to be outraged you should check your moral compass and remind yourself of how valuable every human life is.
