Summer Camp Experiment: Dissecting Aborted baby Brains
Posted on September 6, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
In this very short video clip, Dr. Paul Roth of the University of New Mexico Health Science Center admits that students at a summer camp dissected aborted baby brains.
The clip shows Dr. Roth admitting on camera that a faculty member obtained and used fetal brains in one of the summer workshops. Specifically, he states:
“Yes, we had a faculty member who obtained some tissue, and during one of these summer workshops, uh, dissected I think one or two fetal brains.”
A recent article on this deviant incident says that a House Select Panel has sent a letter to the New Mexico Attorney General recommending that the University of New Mexico and the supplier of the baby brains be charged with violating state and federal laws. The article states:
Hillary Clinton Thinks “Religious Beliefs Have to be Changed” to Support Abortion
Posted on August 23, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
Before you vote for Hillary Clinton, consider remarks she made in a speech saying that “religious beliefs” need to change in order to more fully encourage abortion in our culture.
A video, posted below, shares several clips of Clinton’s remarks on abortion which include her desire to see Planned Parenthood get more money, that unborn children don’t have any Constitutional rights, and that Roe v. Wade is settled law. One of the most disturbing comments she made though was that “religious beliefs…have to be changed.”
This Might Be the Worst Election Advice I’ve Ever Seen

The upcoming election is going to be a tough decision for Christians. The last thing anyone needs is advice on who to vote for like the advice given by a Christian blogger.
VIDEO: If You’re a Christian Voting Democrat – You Need to See This
Posted on August 9, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
The following video is one that should be considered very carefully by anyone voting in the upcoming election. The message of this video is at the heart of what is at stake during this election cycle.
Often, anyone that focuses on a single issue during an election will be called myopic, or a “single issue voter.” This is never considered a good thing and people are often told to look beyond that single issue. But, in the case of the sanctity of life it is hard to “look past” a candidate as rabidly in support of abortion as Hillary Clinton.
The video, shot by David Benham, one half of the famed Benham Brothers, reminds Christians that a vote for the Democratic party (Hillary Clinton) is a vote for a radical abortion agenda. Benham states:
VICTORY: Creator of Undercover Planned Parenthood Videos Acquitted of All Charges
Posted on August 4, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
Daleiden and a partner secretly taped the videos, released over the last year, as they conversed with a number of Planned Parenthood executives directly responsible for obtaining and selling the body parts. As they were released to the public a great outcry ensued. Planned Parenthood (PP) CEO Cecile Richards immediately went into damage control mode as she tried to convince the American people that PP did nothing wrong.
Richards and the PP media machine went into overdrive to discredit the videos, saying they were doctored. Daleiden responded by releasing the unedited footage. So Richards went on a media tour explaining that there was no profit from the sale of the body parts. Again, Daleiden released footage to the contrary. At every turn the videos undermined what PP said and showed that the abortion merchant is a criminal organization.
The response?
Elections Have Consequences – Just Ask Unborn Children in Texas
Posted on July 6, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
If you don’t think elections have consequences you haven’t been paying attention for the past 8 years. If you think the upcoming election won’t have consequences, you simply have no grasp on our current cultural position.
The most pro-abortion president in American history has had 8 years in the White House. His tenure has produced two staunch abortion advocates on the Supreme Court. With these allies firmly in place for the rest of their lives the high court of our country currently stands firmly with the abortion industry. That realty has had a devastating effect on the efforts of individual states to pass common sense laws to protect women and unborn children from the barbarism of abortion.
The most recent setback to efforts of pro-life advocates came from the Supreme Court ruling in the Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt case. The court decided that requiring abortion doctors to have admitting privileges to local hospitals and requiring abortion clinics to adhere to the same building standards as ambulatory surgical centers were unconstitutional and “not medically necessary.”
To break this down, which will help understand the absurdity of the pro-abortion position and the court’s ruling, let’s make sure we understand exactly what these two laws were seeking to accomplish.
Captain Obvious Award: New Study Suggests High School Condom Programs Lead to More Teen Pregnancy
Posted on July 5, 2016 in Public Policy, Sexuality by Nathan Cherry
What happens when you hand out condoms at the high school level?
If you’re a progressive, liberal, or lacking in common sense the answer is: kids have safe sex.
If you have a properly functioning moral compass and a shred of common sense the answer is: teen pregnancy rates go up.
While advocates of condom distribution studies insist that these programs are designed to encourage safe sex; a growing body of data points to the fact that condom programs simply increase teen pregnancy and abortion rates.
Take a moment to read about a new study that further suggests condom programs do little more than increase teen pregnancy and abortion rates. A recent report comments on the new study:
“Overall, the study adds to an impressive body of research which shows that efforts to encourage contraceptive use either through mandates, subsidies, or distribution are ineffective at best or counterproductive at worst. In many countries, increases in contraception use are correlated with increase in the abortion rate.”
The study supports other data, which suggests that teen pregnancy, abortion, and STD’s all increase due to the implementation of condom programs. To this I utter an exasperated and common-sense based “sigh.”
VDEO: Powerful Hip-Hop Video “Life On Mars” Confronts Definition of Life
Posted on June 28, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
An odd irony I’ve often wondered about is the various definitions of life employed by our culture. It would seem that the definition of life is fixed: if you’re alive, you’re alive. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. The most glaring example of this is seen in discussions of finding life on planet Mars.
Scientists are hoping to find life on Mars. And by life they mean any simple, single-celled organism they can deem alive. However, many of these same scientists would look at an unborn child with all of it’s millions of cells and beating heart, and refuse to admit that it is a living human being. It takes some philosophical gymnastics to arrive at that conclusion.
A new music video by a Christian hip-hop artist addresses this very hypocrisy.
Dove Award winning artist Je’Kob recently released the video for his song “Life On mars,” which discusses the definition of life. (The video is posted below.)
In the video, Je’Kob addresses the idea that bacteria found on Mars is considered “life” while a baby inside the womb is not given this protected status. He sings:
“Don’t let them find one organism, & got the nerve to call that life,
“Yet they say that my baby’s not alive until it lives outside my wife
“Why are we looking for life on Mars
“When don’t respect life on our Planet Earth, Planet Earth, Planet Earth.”

VIDEO: When People See Abortion They Change Their Mind About Supporting Abortion
Posted on June 21, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
The video below has been circulating social media for a couple of weeks now. The video shows people being asked if they are pro-choice or pro-life. When they answer that they are pro-choice, they are shown a video of what a typical first trimester abortion looks like. Their reactions are recorded as they watch the video. Once the video is finished they are asked if their opinions have changed concerning abortion.
Everyone changes their mind.
Years ago Fr. Frank Pavone said “America won’t reject abortion until it sees abortion.” Maybe he knew how preceisely accurate his words were, maybe not. But watching this video makes it clear that many people simply don’t understand just how human the unborn are, and what terrible torture abortion really is.
I hope this video continues to circulate social media and that many more minds will be changed because of it. There is no doubt that more people are pro-life today than ever before. We need to continue to educate people on the atrocity of abortion and reject the culture of death that Planned Parenthood and its partners want us to accept.
And, let’s not forget the unborn when we vote for a president in November.
The Reason I Don’t Own Pets Has To Do With Harambe the Ape
Posted on June 15, 2016 in Life, Theology by Nathan Cherry
I had pets growing up. Many of my friends and family today have pets. I don’t have any pets. My kids really like animals and would love to have a pet, but so far I’ve refused to get any pets. One reason for this decision is that I would be a really bad pet owner. I should probably explain that statement.
Pet ownership has gone to a whole new level of crazy in our culture. You can find pet spas, pet resorts, and all manner of comforts and conveniences for your pet: sweaters, shoes, lounge chairs and houses nicer than the people down the street. People now refer to themselves as parents simply because they own a pet and there is a section of greeting cards that is from the pet to the owner (who exactly fills out and signs that card?).
When I say I would be a bad pet owner it’s not because I abuse or neglect animals but because I treat them like…animals. I don’t buy pets expensive food, I don’t celebrate their birthday, and if you call me a parent because I own pets I’m liable to punch you in the throat. I don’t see animals as being on the same level as humans or in any way equal. So the lengths to which some people go to own a pet is beyond my comprehension. (I know a retired lady concerned about running out of money but she refuses to stop taking her dog to groomers or buying unbelievably expensive medicines.)
