2 Ways the Church Makes Being a Christian Hard
Posted on April 12, 2018 in Theology by Nathan Cherry
Prior to the 19th century there was no such thing as an altar call. It might surprise many to know the church, even the American church, never used such a method. And yet, the American church experienced tremendous growth. But Finney wanted more. He wanted to see people saved immediately and sought to use the altar call (he called it the “anxious bench”) to create an emotional response from people. The unintended consequence, however, was to change the way Christians think about evangelism.

The infographic below details the fact that despite claims from Planned Parenthood that abortion makes up only 3% of their services, the reality is far more gruesome. What makes the PP claim so curious is that they constantly trumpet abortion as a “woman’s right,” something to be celebrated. if that’s the case, why lie about how many abortions they do? Why hide the fact that 30% of their services are abortions? It makes me wonder if there is something more they are hiding. Take a look at the info-graphic to see just how many abortions Planned Parenthood performs and how much money they are profiting from it.

See if you can answer this question: why are churches tax exempt?
That is a hot button topic in the news, around lawmakers, and on the blogosphere these days. Many don’t know why churches are tax exempt and others simply don’t think they should be. They say that churches are corporations earning money like everyone else and should pay taxes. But is paying taxes really the primary goal of those advocating for the taxing of churches? First, let’s talk about why churches are tax exempt.
Alliance Defending Freedom senior legal counsel Erik Stanley explains that churches have always been tax-exempt since the IRS tax code was first established. And in every version of the code ever since, churches are tax exempt. But, as Stanley explains, many simply don’t know why.
149 Abortions for Every Adoption Referral
Posted on December 13, 2013 in Life by Nathan Cherry
Planned Parenthood is an aboriton business. We must start with that in order to have an honest discussion about the organization. People that claim they “do good services” for women aren’t being honest if they don’t admit that the primary “service” of Planned Parenthood is abortion. To further show just how important abortion is to women, a recent report states that last year Planned Parenthood did 149 abortions for every adoption referral.
Further statistics show the low level of concern Planned Parenthood has for women’s health:
“PPFA reported a substantial drop in its clinic numbers between December 2012 and December 2013.
“Planned Parenthood reported a 6.7 percent decrease worldwide in customers for its ‘sexual and reproductive healthcare and education.’ In the U.S., it reported seeing 10,000 fewer unduplicated customers than in 2011.
“One of the most glaring numbers was the steep decline in prenatal services-a 31.97 percent decline from the prior year.
“In addition, Planned Parenthood’s highly touted cancer screening services dropped 14.22 percent from the 2011 numbers.”
