Education in Chicago: 5th Graders Learn About Female Condoms and See Pictures!

Posted on November 24, 2014 in Public Policy, Sexuality by

I don’t care if people call this a “pet peeve” of mine. I will continue to be alarmed (and seek to alarm others) of the graphic nature of public school sex-education programs.

A recent report coming out of Chicago once again underscores the absolutely inappropriateness of the material being taught to 5th graders! Yes, 5th graders. Here’s some of the lessons being taught:

How to put on male and female condoms. (They are also being shown graphic illustrations of this procedure.)
How to use condoms for anal sex and encouraged in this practice.
They are being told the “Plan B morning after pill” is not an abortion pill.
They can get sexual and reproductive services without parental consent.

If you read through that paragraph without being shocked and angered that 10-year-olds are being taught such material, it’s time to reconsider your values.

The article reports:

Graph: Planned Parenthood Does 30% of All Abortions in the United States

Posted on March 20, 2014 in Life by

Jill Stanek, reporting at LifeSiteNews.com, shares the following sickening statistics from recent reports regarding abortions in the United States and Planned Parenthood. If you think Planned Parenthood is about women’s health and all the rosy rhetoric they like to repeat, read this and think again.

American Life League’s STOPP reported in February:

Here are some comparative numbers based on theGuttmacher report entitled “Abortion Incidence and Service Availability in the United States, 2011,” and Planned Parenthood’s annual reports, showing Planned Parenthood’s ever-increasing share of the U.S. abortion market:

Planned Parenthood committed 31.6% of abortions nationwide in 2011
Planned Parenthood committed 23.3% of abortions nationwide in 2006
Planned Parenthood committed 16.5% of abortions nationwide in 2001
Planned Parenthood committed 11.3% of abortions nationwide in 1996
Planned Parenthood committed 8.5% of abortions nationwide in 1991
Planned Parenthood committed 6.2% of abortions nationwide in 1986

The graph below shows that Planned Parenthood abortions continue to soar, even as national abortion rates have declined and leveled off.

Teachers Should Be Allowed to Make Porn and Students Should Be Allowed to Sext Nude Selfie’s

Posted on March 17, 2014 in Sexuality by

I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. It seems to make major headlines that a teacher was once a porn star. (Here’s an article from a few years ago.) And there’s ongoing media frenzy over a Duke coed that is paying for her tuition by doing porn.

But my question is why there is such a problem with teachers – ex or current – that want to do porn or even students that want to take nude selfie’s and send them out to all their friends. I was under the impression that this is the sort of thing that is just “normal” and “no big deal” and that only extremist religious prudes get bend out of shape over it.

Beautifully Graphic Photo Shows the Humanity of the Unborn

Posted on March 2, 2014 in Life by

The following photo is baby Noah. He died due to spontaneous miscarriage at just 12 weeks and 5 days old. What makes that so horrible is that Noah is at the age when most unborn children are aborted.

Planned Parenthood and abortion advocates tell us that unborn children are blobs of tissue, not really living, and not human. But I ask you to take a look at the photo below and tell me if any of those statements seems remotely true or even logical. The fact is, an unborn child at 12 weeks is every bit as human as a 12 year old; and deserves to be fully protected from the horrors of abortion.

Must Watch: John Piper and Francis Chan Talk About Abortion in Church

Posted on February 22, 2014 in Life by

If you’ve ever wondered whether a pastor should discuss abortion church, or if the pastor should use graphic images of aborted babies as illustrations, you must watch this video.
John Piper and Francis Chan discuss how to discuss abortion while being sensitive to post-abortive women in your church. They further discuss the use of graphic images depicting abortion within the church. I think a lot of people will be surprised by this discussion an the positions taken by the two prominent pastors.
