Ministry to Abortion Clinic Workers Seeing Results

Posted on January 8, 2014 in Life by

Abby Johnson is well known around the country for leaving her position at a Texas Planned Parenthood and blowing the whistle on illegal activity at the clinic. But she didn’t stop here. Johnson started a ministry called “And Then There Were None” in 2012 to reach out to abortion clinic workers. Her goal as simply to help them, if they desired, to quit their job at the abortion clinic and find life-affirming work elsewhere.

A recent article shares the success of Johnson’s efforts since her ministry began in June of 2012:

“And in just 17 months we have had 90 abortion clinic workers leave their jobs and come through our ministry. And we’ve been able to help them transition into other life-affirming lines of work…But our primary goal is really to bring them to Christ, and to bring them to complete healing through Christ, and we’re just really excited that all 90 of our workers now have strong relationships with God.”

That is encouraging news. I hope Abby and her ministry continue to help abortion clinic workers that often feel trapped to find work elsewhere. Her ministry, along with groups such as 40 Days for Life, and state legislatures passing pro-life laws is causing an implosion in the abortion industry. That is a trend I can support.
