Mohler is wondering if this belief gave shelter to abusive men, and allowed them to justify their abuse by using Scripture to demand that women “submit to their own husbands.” Mohler is asking this question in anticipation of the response by opponents of complimentarianism that will see the controversy around Patterson as proof of their claims that complimentarians are secret abusers.

This is a twisted response by the The Women’s March revealing a lack of clarity and consistency in their worldview.

If you’re like me, you’ve watched with curiosity as our culture has celebrated people that deny reality in favor of their feelings. You’ve looked on with interest, trying to figure out how it’s possible for a rational, intelligent society to be excited about men that call themselves women and white people that claim they are black. All the while wondering what’s next; because something is always next.
What’s next is beyond disgusting. It’s insidious in every way.

It’s hard to make sense of a world that can compartmentalize the lives of Harvey Weinstein and Hugh Hefner. Maybe if Weinstein would have offered to pay women and make them famous for accepting his sexual proposals he would not be in the trouble he is in right now. Then again, I think Weinstein did pay and make women famous. Just like Hefner.
And yet, Hefner is lauded and Weinstein is fired.
I Was Surprised When this Highly Respected Institution Said Encouraging Youth Transgenderism is a Form of Child Abuse

A court finds living as a boy when you are a girl is punishable by jail time. The American College of Pediatrics believes advocating for youth transgenderism is “child abuse.” And I am really confused by it all.
As you probably know, there is a massive push to “support” youth transgenderism. Schools and other public facilities are being pressured to allow transgender students to use whatever bathroom and locker room they want. Apparently they think it’s a great idea to let hormone-driven boys into girls bathrooms and locker rooms. Since everyone now has cell phones with cameras you can only imagine the privacy and safety issues that will no doubt result in such actions. Nonetheless, the push continues because: equality.
The media has been focused on North Carolina where a “controversial” bill to require people to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to their biological sex has been passed. There has been nationwide outcry from media and activists saying that this a form of discrimination. Again, some people think allowing anyone to use any facility they choose simply by claiming to be the opposite sex is a good idea. I’m sure pedophiles and sex offenders do think it’s a good idea. However, common sense says that such measures are absurd, at best.
After 400 Hours of Porn – A Woman Quits for God

A growing problem in our society is women addicted to porn. Traditionally this has been a male problem, but our over-sexualized culture has led to a dramatic rise in women that are struggling with porn addiction.
A British vlogger named Oghosa Ovienrioba shared a video about her particular struggle with porn. What makes her video so relatable is that she is 1) a woman, and 2) candid about her addiction starting as a result of abuse.
What is becoming clearer is that porn addiction and childhood sexual abuse are intricately connected. More than just a few people have realized their abuse and their addiction to porn are linked. So much so that studies are being done to understand how they are connected. Ovienrioba is no exception to this trend and shares in the video – posted below – how her own abuse led to consuming hours of porn each day.
“When I was about 15 or 16, I started watching porn much more regularly and this time it didn’t shock me as much. The thing about porn is, it works on desensitizing…When you see people, you don’t even see people anymore. You see them as sex objects.”
Jackie Hill-Perry: A Former Lesbian Now Sharing Christ with Spoken Word Poetry

Do you believe that sexuality is an inherent quality a person has no ability to control? Is human sexuality little more than a biological function of our human nature that we are hopeless to change, even if we wanted to?
Those are the sentiments our society wants us to believe.
At least one outspoken former homosexual is disagreeing.
Jackie Hill-Perry is a Christian spoken-word poet that rhymes about theology and the grace of Christ. What makes her a little different in this discussion is that she is a former lesbian. Hill-Perry’s journey from homosexuality to the light of the Gospel is not too unfamiliar to many.
Hill-Perry recently said that she was sexually abused by a family friend when she was just 5 years old. This triggered gender confusion in her that carried her into her adolescent years. By 17 years old Hill-Perry was sexually active with women and a regular at gay clubs and pride events in St. Louis.
Hill-Perry’s story sounds like many former and current homosexuals. If asked to trace their life back they end up talking about abuse at a young age. It’s sad that such details are ignored or even covered up in the media but they are nonetheless true. Much more than that, they are relevant to the discussion.
Attorney General Says Rape of Teen Girls Don’t Need to be Reported By Abortion Clinics

Hey mom and dad, let’s chat. Suppose for a moment your 15-year-old daughter was sexually abused, raped, and became pregnant. Without your knowledge her rapist took her to a Planned Parenthood clinic or other abortion facility to have an abortion. Your daughter wanted to keep the baby because she is pro-life, but her rapist doesn’t want to “deal with it,” and wants the baby killed. So this grown man threatens your daughter and makes her go to the clinic to have an abortion. The clinic asks your daughter about being pregnant and she reveals that she was raped by the man in the waiting room. The clinic shrugs their shoulders and performs the abortion without notifying you, or the police. Both walk out free.
Is that okay with you mom and dad?
I have a feeling that any loving parent would be furious at the above scenario and seek criminal charges against the abortion clinic for such negligent actions. After all, how can it not be a crime to not report a crime? Especially when that crime is against a minor.
Despite the common sense that makes it obvious that such potential crimes and actual crimes ought to be reported, the Virginia Attorney General has decided that such is not the case. He released an opinion stating:
Disturbing Video: Undercover Videos of Planned Parenthood Show Depth of Corruption

Live Action – the pro life organization led by Lila Rose – has released a new campaign aimed at defunding Planned Parenthood. The new comprehensive campaign is called, “Lies, Corruption, and Scandal: Six Years of Exposing Planned Parenthood.”
As part of the campaign a packet was delivered to ever U.S. congressman and senator with a report detailing Planned Parenthood’s expansive malfeasance.
Live Action has also set up a website for the campaign PlannedParenthoodExposed.com, launching a petition drive, and releasing a video that gives a six minute synopsis of Live Action’s six years of undercover investigations of the United States’ largest abortion merchant.
