Do Kids Really go to Heaven When They Die?
Posted on June 20, 2017 in Family, Theology by Nathan Cherry
While we may have good intentions for our efforts to comfort grieving parents, Christians must make sure that their intentions, efforts, and words are based solely on Scripture. There is no real comfort in telling someone what cannot be supported by Scripture. So before we tell parents that their child is now in Heaven, we need to examine Scripture to determine whether that is true or not.
The traditional, somewhat historical position can be summed up in a statement by Sam Storms, writing at The Gospel Coalition, when he says:
Margaret Sanger: Planned Parenthood Founder Shares Racist Vision in Her Own Words
Posted on November 1, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
You might have missed the historic anniversary that took place recently. There was fanfare and celebration and the media even made sure to mention it. Sadly though, the celebration was over the millions of unborn babies killed by Planned Parenthood.
The 100th year of the world’s largest abortion merchant saw everyone from celebrities to politicians applaud and thank Planned Parenthood for their efforts in killing the unborn. Many people, however, have no idea that Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist woman that hated minorities and anyone that was different than herself.
Margaret Sanger was a first-class racist that had ties to the Klu Klux Klan and routinely wished that minorities could be exterminated. An article recently recounted some of her statements and writings. They are posted below so you can educate yourself, and share them with others in an effort to help people see the true intent behind Planned Parenthood and the push to abort the unborn.
Gov. Tomblin Vetoes Bill to Ban Dismemberment Abortion in West Virginia. State Legislature Responds with Powerful Message
Posted on March 15, 2016 in Life by Nathan Cherry
It seems Governor Tomblin can’t get anything done these days.
In recent weeks Gov. Tomblin has vetoed several bills and been promptly overridden by the legislature. One of those bills was SB 10, The West Virginia Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act. This bill had broad bi-partisan support from the time it was introduced and seemed like a no-brainer to sign into law.
Gov. Tomblin however, claiming to be pro-life, vetoed the bill. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone that claims to be pro-life do so little to protect the unborn. Tomblin has, however, done plenty to ensure abortion continues in West Virginia. Maybe he should stop claiming to be pro-life and just admit that he supports abortion. After all, actions speak louder than words.
In his veto, Tomblin said:
“I am advised this bill is overbroad and unduly burdens a woman’s fundamental right to privacy.”
Apparently a woman’s “fundamental right to privacy” outweighs an unborn child’s right to not be torn limb from limb. That’s an odd position to take.
Thankfully, though, the West Virginia legislature once again rose to the challenge and overrode Tomblin’s veto quickly. The governor must have known this would happen considering the majority support for this bill. Whether he knew he would be overridden or not, I am thankful the legislature did what was right and made sure unborn babies in West Virginia would not be subject to this terrible torture.
Man Behind Undercover Planned Parenthood Videos Shares About the “Evil” He Encountered
Posted on October 19, 2015 in Life by Nathan Cherry
The man behind the undercover videos that exposed the atrocities of planned Parenthood shared with Glenn Beck a memorable moment when he believed he encountered “evil” at a Planned Parenthood clinic. David Daleiden told Beck that while he was at the clinic of a late-term abortionist, a woman that routinely kills babies days before they are supposed to be born, he had a moment when he felt the “evil” of the abortion clinic:
“And for the first time during this entire project, I felt really afraid, like an actual fear, a fight-or-flight kind of response. I felt very exposed, like she knew everything about me. And then all of a sudden … back to laughing and joking, totally casual, normal. And I talked about that with several people afterwards, and some people have kind of a spiritual interpretation, and others have a more psychological interpretation. But on some level, we feel like that was the predator look or the predator instinct that you see in someone who is accustomed to killing people.
Remember the shocking report from the UK about aborted babies being burned as heating fuel? Another report has surfaced but this time the aborted babies are being used to heat places right here in the United States!
A report states:
“An Oregon county commission has ordered an incinerator to stop accepting boxed medical waste to generate electricity after learning the waste it’s been burning may include tissue from aborted fetuses from British Columbia.”
There you have it, aborted babies are marked as “medical waste” and used to heat homes. Can we really be shocked and surprised at such actions when Planned Parenthood continually tells us that unborn children are just a “clump of cells” or “blobs of tissue”? If they’re just cells and tissue why not burn them to heat homes? But our sensibilities and morals tell us otherwise. They tell us that burning the remains of murdered children is wrong. So we are justifiably angry.
An article at LifeNews.com carries the comment of one of the commissioner’s overseeing the factor where the incident is said to have occurred:
“We are outraged and disgusted that this material could be included in medical waste received at the facility,” said Commissioner Janet Carlson. “We did not know this practice was occurring until today. We are taking immediate action and initiating discussions with Covanta Marion to make certain that this type of medical waste is not accepted in the future.”
I’m glad she is “outraged and disgusted” with the incident. I have a feeling most people would be. The problem is that this is a result of the throwaway culture being created by abortion activists like Planned Parenthood. You can’t foster a respect for life that prevents these incidents while telling people it’s okay to kill their unborn children. The two are incompatible. So if we are really shocked and disgusted let’s take action against the groups responsible for creating the culture. Let’s end abortion once and for all.
Shock Report: Bodies of Babies Used As Fuel to Heat Hospitals
Posted on April 7, 2014 in Life by Nathan Cherry
A disturbing report from the United Kingdom is causing an uproar all the way across the pond here in the United States. An investigation has led to the conclusion that thousands of unborn and miscarried babies were used as fuel in incinerators to heat hospitals. LifeNews.com reports:
“One of the country’s leading hospitals, Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge, incinerated 797 babies below 13 weeks gestation at their own ‘waste to energy’ plant. The mothers were told the remains had been ‘cremated.’ Another ‘waste to energy’ facility at Ipswich Hospital, operated by a private contractor, incinerated 1,101 foetal remains between 2011 and 2013. They were brought in from another hospital before being burned, generating energy for the hospital site.”
The shock and disgust has come mostly from pro-life camps as the pro-abortion crowd seems strangely silent. Then again, if you approve of ripping unborn babies apart limb from limb then what is the big deal about using their body parts to heat a hospital?
VIDEO: This is What 55 Million Aborted Babies Looks Like
Posted on March 25, 2014 in Life by Nathan Cherry
Can you wrap your mind around 55 million aborted babies? It can be easy to talk about but a lot harder to visualize exactly how many lives lost that is. A new video (shown below) produced by Life Dynamics Incorporated is putting that number into perspective.
Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics in explained why this video was created: “We did this video because it’s very easy to talk about 55 million dead babies but no one can fully wrap their minds around those numbers. This will help America understand just how overwhelming these numbers are and demonstrate the magnitude of abortion in the United States.”
Watch the video below and come to grips with the ongoing holocaust against the unborn that is taking place. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser.
