This Graph Will Tell You All You Need to Know About Religion in America

The above graph is made from data compiled from 2001-2016 by Gallup Research. The information sheds a very bright light on the state of religion in America and why solid biblical teaching is desperately needed inside our churches.

The quick conclusion I came to after looking over the data is that Mormons have the most biblical views of any religious group represented by the data. In each category Mormons scored lowest when needed (on issues like abortion and homosexual relationships) and highest when needed (on the death penalty). That sad reality is disturbing.

Jill Stanek, reporting at LifeSiteNews.com, shares the following sickening statistics from recent reports regarding abortions in the United States and Planned Parenthood. If you think Planned Parenthood is about women’s health and all the rosy rhetoric they like to repeat, read this and think again.

American Life League’s STOPP reported in February:

Here are some comparative numbers based on theGuttmacher report entitled “Abortion Incidence and Service Availability in the United States, 2011,” and Planned Parenthood’s annual reports, showing Planned Parenthood’s ever-increasing share of the U.S. abortion market:

Planned Parenthood committed 31.6% of abortions nationwide in 2011
Planned Parenthood committed 23.3% of abortions nationwide in 2006
Planned Parenthood committed 16.5% of abortions nationwide in 2001
Planned Parenthood committed 11.3% of abortions nationwide in 1996
Planned Parenthood committed 8.5% of abortions nationwide in 1991
Planned Parenthood committed 6.2% of abortions nationwide in 1986

The graph below shows that Planned Parenthood abortions continue to soar, even as national abortion rates have declined and leveled off.

Why does Planned Parenthood push so hard to get explicit sex-education in schools? Why do pro-abortion groups want to get condoms and birth control in the hands of middle and high school students? The graph below answers these questions.

According to this graph the younger a girl is when she first has sex, the more likely she is to have an abortion. The rates are so dramatically different by age that the actions of pro-abortion groups make much more sense. Abortion groups know that women that are at least 20 years old have learned about the harms of abortion and are more likely to choose life. So, these groups are targeting young, impressionable girls. Look at the chart to get a better understanding of how a first sexual encounter can affect a young woman.
