West Virginia Student Made to Attend “Gay Club” Against His Will (Video)

Posted on January 7, 2015 in Religious Freedom, Sexuality by

A high school student in Buckhannon, WV, has come under fire for posting a simple picture with an absolutely true message to a social media website.

The student’s school started a LGBT club called “The Gay Straight Alliance” to try and change perception of other students and make homosexuality more welcome. The club could not find any teachers available to sponsor the group so they met it the same room as the “Kindness Club.” This presented a problem for one member of the kindness club that did not want to be part of the gay club because of his religious convictions.

The student took a short video of the combined meeting of the gay club and the kindness club and uploaded it to Snapchat with the caption “Our school has a ‘gay’ club.”

That was all that was needed for one teacher to become angry and accuse the student of bullying.

Jefferson Bethke, a spoken-word artist that gained fame for his video “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus,” recently wrote a letter to his unborn daughter and then read it to her after she was born. In the video Jefferson shares some practical insight with his infant daughter and let’s her know how proud he is to be her daddy. But he also shares truth with her, that life is hard, and sometimes things don’t make sense. But in it all, Jefferson, true to his calling, shares Jesus in the video and lets his daughter know that Christ is the most important thing about life.

Amazing Video: The Piano Guys and David Archuleta Singing “Angels from the Realms of Glory”

Posted on December 24, 2014 in Theology by

As Christmas day is now just hours away I wanted to share this video of The Piano Guys doing their version of “Angels From the Realms of Glory” along with Peter Hollens and David Archuleta. This is a beautiful video that captures the meaning and purpose for Christmas. I hope that in the few hours left before Christmas you can take a moment or two to quietly reflect on the reason we celebrate Christmas and the inherent religious significance behind it. Without the historical act of Jesus being born in the manger more than 2000 years ago we would have nothing to base our celebration on. Many of the songs and traditional we hold so dear would not exist and others would simply be meaningless. But thanks to that one historical act we can celebrate joyfully each year as we remember the day that God came to earth as a baby.

Watch the video and let it remind you of what this very special day is all about. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser.

Viral Video: Home Free Singing Their Version of a Christmas Classic

Posted on December 19, 2014 in Theology by

When rising a capella group Home Free wanted to record a video for their stirring rendition of “Angels We Have Heard on High,” they chose a church to do it. Considering the content of the song it seems a fitting backdrop. But the church takes second place to the group’s incredible vocal version of this beloved Christmas classic.

It won’t take long before the listener will understand why this video has gone mega viral in just a few shorts weeks (the video had over a million hits just two weeks after Thanksgiving). The five man group blends melodies and harmonies in what can only be described as a symphony of vocal music to create a beautiful rendition of this Christmas carol that is worth every second it takes to listen.

Songs like this are deeply embedded into our celebration of the Christmas holiday. They tell the story of what Christmas is truly all about. “Angels We Have Heard on High” tells about the angels that appeared in the skies to sing and announce the birth of Christ to the shepherds (Luke 2:8-14), and the shepherds going to see Jesus in the manger (Luke 2:15-20). It also tells of the little baby born to take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). The song makes this clear in the last verse: “See Him in a manger laid, Jesus Lord of heaven and earth; Mary, Joseph, lend your aid, With us sing our Savior’s birth.”

We love these Christmas songs because in the chaos that can be Christmas they remind us of the true meaning of the season and why we can even celebrate. We are remembering the day Jesus was born as a baby for the purpose of dying on the cross for our sins. These songs ground us in the truth of what Christmas is supposed to be, a celebration of Jesus. And this video by Home Free is just another version of the song that will be enjoyed for generations to come and serve that purpose. Take a few moments to listen, it will be a highlight of your day.

This Video Was Produced by an 18-Year-Old And It’s Amazing!

Posted on December 8, 2014 in Uncategorized by

The video below has an incredible message of just how important every life is. The fact that the video was produced by an 18-year-old makes it all the more remarkable. Hannah Victoria’s newest film, Mitosis, shares the story of the impact that abortion has on everyone, not just a pregnant woman.

Working from the end backwards, Victoria tells the story of a young boy that made a promise to his friend to find a cure for cancer. The boy grows up and finds that cure, and even opens a research facility to continue his work. But, the problem is that the doctor never lived, and never found the cure for cancer. All because his mother aborted him.

Take a few moments to watch this powerful story defending the sanctity of human life and be reminded that every life counts, every life is important, every life matters.

Video: Sand Castle Competition Entry Shares Pro-Life Message in Amazing Way

Posted on December 1, 2014 in Life by

The video below is of an entry to the Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition. That’s a mouthful for sure. But the competition happens each year in Florida, with people coming from as far away as the Philippines to compete. The week long event boasts some of the most intricate and amazing sand sculptures imagined.

The sculpture chosen as “the people’s choice” this year is called “The Miracle of Life.” The sculpture shows an infant cradled in the hands of his parents, or perhaps even his Creator. The motivation for the sculpture is unknown, but the message is undeniable: Life is a Miracle. And because life is a miracle it should be defended at all times. The idea that it is acceptable to kill an unborn child, a child with an illness or handicap, runs counter to our nature. We instinctively know it’s wrong to kill defenseless people.

Watch the video below to see a better view of this amazing sculpture. It’s hard to believe it was done entirely out of sand but it is absolutely amazing.

Disturbing Video Praises “Bro-choice” Abortion Supporters

Posted on November 28, 2014 in Life by

According to groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL men are not allowed to interject their thoughts concerning abortion because it is a “woman’s right” issue. That is, of course, unless you are a man that supports abortion, then it’s not just acceptable but encouraged that you speak up. The obvious hypocrisy is hard to stomach.

The video below is also hard to stomach. (Warning: graphic images and language.)

The video highlights the “Bro-choice” movement, which is men that believe if a woman is pregnant, and he wants her to have an abortion, she should be forced to have the abortion. The sick, twisted nature of this movement is hard to fathom. Especially in light of places like China where women are routinely subjected to forced abortion. To think that someone would hold the position that a woman should be “forced against her will” to have an abortion is an egregious affront to human dignity and worth; not to mention civil rights.

WOW! Watch “9 Months of Development” in Only 4 Minutes

Posted on September 8, 2014 in Life by

The below video is amazing. In very graphic detail we are given a glimpse into the development of an unborn child from the moment life begins at conception to birth. Details that we never get to see such as the heart beginning to beat, eyes opening for the first time, and blood flowing through the unborn child’s veins are captured in brilliant detail. It’s worth 4 minutes of your time to see the miracle of life and human development.
The science of fetal development has helped confirm the humanity of the unborn. No longer can Planned Parenthood and other abortion activists lie and tell us it’s just a “blob of cells” inside the mother’s womb. There is now no doubt that what is growing and developing inside the mother’s womb is a human being.

Watch the video and be amazed. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser.

Visual Artist Creates “9 Month Vine” Based on Wife’s Pregnancy. Must See!

Posted on September 1, 2014 in Life by

TheBlaze shared the visual art Vine of Ian Padgham which took about a year to complete. Considering that Vine videos are only 6 seconds long it doesn’t make sense that his video took so long to compose. Unless of course he was creating a video based on the transformation that comes with motherhood. This particular video uses his own wife as the subject and it easy to see why it was looped more than 6 million times in just two days.

See the very cool Vine video below. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser.

Planned Parenthood Tells Young Girl to Watch “Educational Porno”

Posted on August 4, 2014 in Life, Sexuality by

What continues to amaze me about these videos from Live Action taken undercover at Planned Parenthood (PP) abortion clinics across the country, is how unconcerned the PP staffer seems to be about the age of the “patient.” According to PP 15 is not too young to not just be in a sexual relationship, but to be engaging in BDSM behavior. Am I the only one shocked by that?

It is equally disturbing that PP does not care that this young, minor child has no parent present. I mean, I knew that PP would happily do an abortion for a 15-year-old without telling her parents, and that they oppose all parental notification laws, and yet it’s still surprising to me to witness. I suppose I am surprised because if this was my child and I learned PP was giving such advice without my knowledge it would not be such a calm, serene scene. But hey, that’s me.

What kind of advice is PP giving to this underage patient?

This particular PP staffer thought it would be a good idea to tell a 15-year-old that she should find a good “educational porno” to watch. I can’t help but wonder if she would feel the same way about an adult telling her underage daughter the same thing. Suppose I decided to tell this PP staffer’s daughter that there is some great porn out there she should be watching. How would the mother react? If she has any moral scruples at all she would be furious and seek legal intervention. But she feels completely at ease telling this young girl – someone’s daughter – to go watch porn.
