The Feminist Worldview is Incompatible with Love Because It Is Selfish
Posted on January 4, 2018 in Marriage by Nathan Cherry
Welcome to modern feminism. In our feminist culture where men are evil and must be defeated, women are never to do anything that could be considered demeaning. Such things include: cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, any kind of housework, decorating (for holidays or otherwise), and a whole host of other terrible, awful jobs. Any of these things are “below women” and only serve to set women back decades.
The Nashville Statement Reaffirms Biblical Doctrine. Why Are Christians Upset?
Posted on September 20, 2017 in Marriage, Sexuality, Theology by Nathan Cherry
What is mind-boggling to me is the number of self-professing Christians that are unhappy with the statement. I can understand lost people hating it, they hate the truth of God’s Word. Their mind and heart are ravaged by sin and under the influence of their inherent sin nature. As enemies of God (we are all born this way), they reject His authority and the clear principles for life given in Scripture. After all, darkness hates light. Darkness craves darkness to continue evil deeds that darkness loves. So when lost people react with vitriol to a biblical statement of orthodox Christian doctrine, it’s no surprise.
But I can’t figure out why Christians are so upset.
Canada Says Bestiality is Ok! Is that Ok?

Canada has ruled that sexual acts with animals are legal providing there is no penetration involved. This ruling was handed down by the Canadian Supreme Court after a convicted sexual predator, found guilty of assaulting his stepdaughters, appealed the charge and conviction of bestiality.
Education: A Defense of Reading Fiction
Posted on June 27, 2014 in Family, Home School by Derick Dickens
I couldn’t believe my ears. An educator, a prominent one at that, had announced on a national television program that reading fiction was useless to the education of children. She stated that non-fiction would never get someone a job and was useless in the real world.
This is not only an ignorant statement, it is dangerous. This type of worldview seeks to make humans utilitarian… their worth is only what they can produce in business or to the government entities. They relegate men to just servants of a production workforce, not souls where nourishment is necessary, and beauty is her passion.
However, it is even more problematic than what I just wrote. Fiction has played an instrumental role in the development of our society and culture. Here are just a few reasons I think fiction is essential to a healthy, vibrant, and true education.
Has Feminism Helped or Hurt Our Daughters?
Posted on January 17, 2014 in Family, Marriage by Nathan Cherry
I’ve always thought that feminism was an effort perpetrated by a few really angry, hurt women to get otherwise happy women to become angry and hurt. Of course I’m thankful that certain unjust inequities were righted; such as voting. But to me it seems the overall point of feminism has been not to achieve equality, but superiority over men. Since the movement began it has seemingly lost roots in mere equality and rights and instead sought to elevate the worth of women over that of men in a perceived battle of dominance.
Perhaps no other aspect of society has been more impacted by feminism than that of sexuality.
